GREAT REASONS TO JOIN THE PINE HILLS SECURITY PROGRAM
Prior to leaving for vacation we notified Pine Hills Security that
we would be away and to please have the officers check on our house.
During vacation we received a voice message that the officers had
found a window unlocked and opened just a bit. The window is in
the back of the house. Fortunately, there was no entry into the
house but just knowing that officers are checking that diligently
is quite a comfort and quite a deterrent to would-be burglars that
may be watching for signs of vacant houses. Before moving into our
Pine Hills home we lived in a townhouse on Lenox Road. Despite having
burglar alarms that were monitored, several of the townhomes were
burglarized. The reactive action taken by alarm monitoring is fine
but nothing is better than the proactive rounds of the Pine Hills
Security officers." [Woods Circle]
After having our home broken into, we certainly appreciate the Pine
Hills Security service. While the intruder fled at the sound of
our alarm, it is good to know that someone is watching at the prime
times of day, with special vigilance when we warn them that we are
away. I have seen the officers leave their car and go check out
a situation, and I know they take their job seriously. We appreciate
that." [Lenox Crest]
We are out of town fairly often, being retired and having out-of-state
property. We call/email Pine Hills Security a few days in advance
(if we know, but even last minute travel plans are relayed). We
know the officers are very good checking our house and area. In
fact, our son-in-law has met up with one of the patrol a couple
of times. When our front door was left unlocked (through some error
or miscommunication), we were notified about it immediately by phone
and email in SC. We appreciate their fine work and will certainly
continue using the service." [West Roxboro]
We went up to the North Georgia mountains for a couple of days.
We called security and gave the dates that we would be out of town
so they could look after our home. Well, as luck would have it we
received a phone call and had to come back a day early. I had barely
gotten our SUV unloaded when a Pine Hills Security Officer was knocking
on my door to find who was at my house unannounced. Talk about being
on top of the situation!" [Tall Tree]

| Herbicides
and Pesticides
Exposure to herbicides and pesticides can make
children and pets ill. Most commercial lawn companies will
post signs when pesticides and herbicides are used. If you
are spraying yourself or using a private gardener, please
be sure to put some type of notice on your lawn where it can
be seen by those walking by.
If you would like a postcard-size warning sign,
please contact Nancy Bliwise at: Bliwise@bellsouth.net.

Traffic Concerns
Our Pine Hills security officers have been
doing a great job with traffic enforcement in the neighborhood.
They have issued a few tickets to speeders but usually stop
and warn neighbors. If you are concerned about an ongoing
problem, please notify our security team at:
They with work with that Atlanta and Dekalb
police department to resolve chronic problems.
If you are not a current member of the security
program, we need your support.
