Hours
and Operation
The
pool is generally open from Memorial Day through Labor Day
and on weekends after Labor Day as weather permits. With
its new pool heating system, the pool can be enjoyed long
into the warm, beautiful days of Autumn.
During
the summer the pool opens daily at 11:00 a.m. and closes
at 9:00 p.m., making it ideal for all members of the family.
An evening swim is the perfect antidote to a hot summer
day's work. Covered-dish dinners and late-night swims are
held periodically throughout the summer. Lifeguards are
on duty at all times.
The
tennis courts are in use year round and can be reserved
in advance.

Swim
Team
For
families, the Roxboro Valley is an exciting attraction.
In years past, the Sharks have convincingly won their
division and shown well in the Regional meets. Children
ages 4 through 18 are welcome on the swim team. |
Swim
team practices are held in the morning on weekdays under
the expert instruction of our coaching staff.*
For those children who cannot practice in the morning, alternate
practices with the coaching staff are on Tuesday and Thursday
evenings. Swim meets are usually held weekly on Tuesday
evenings from the end of May through July. More

Then practices are in the morning with Monday,
Wednesday and
Thursday evening practices.
Membership
The
annual family dues are $650. New member initiation fee is
$1,000 (one-time only and nonrefundable) plus first-year
membership dues of $650.
Membership
is limited to 250 members to ensure no overcrowding of our
pool and other facilities, even on Atlanta's hottest days.
The
pool is operated under the guidance of a governing board.
All members, new and old, are encouraged to participate
on the Board or on special projects.
